1. WANT TO PUT YOUR FAVORITE PICTURE ON YOUR DESKTOP? Right-click on your desktop , click properties, then Background, then Browse. Make sure the picture you want to put on your desktop is saved in your hard disk or Floppy Drive and you know which folder for easy browse.

2. WANT TO CHANGE THE COLOR OF YOUR DESKTOP? Right-click your desktop, click Properties then click Appearance. You can select the color you want and the fonts, as well. Experiment on the colors and fonts until you are able to get the right color you want.

3. SETTINGS FOR YOUR RECYCLE BIN. Right click on your Recycle Bin Icon on your desktop, then click Properties, click Global, then click the radio button on Üse Setting for all Drives". Adjust the slider to 7% or lower which is the maximum size you want your recycle bin to accommodate. If you don't want to see the dialogue which asks you if you really want to transfer the file to your recycle bin, then Uncheck the box. .

4. WANT TO REMOVE SOME PROGRAMS IN YOUR COMPUTER WHICH YOU NO LONGER NEED? Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, THEN Click the Add/Remove Program Icon. Go over the list then click the Program and Click Remove. WARNING: Before you Remove any Program, make sure it is really that Program you want to Remove otherwise you might be removing a Program that is related to some of the softwares you have. Or, the worst that that can happen is, you might be removing a program which will disable your computer. Remember, once you have deleted/uninstalled a Program, you cannot retrieve it anymore unless you have the CD for that particular program.

5. HOW TO INSTALL A PROGRAM IF THE CD DOES NOT DO AUTO-LOAD? Insert your CD on your CD ROM Drive, Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel. then Click Add.Remove Program, then install.
